Donald Trump Donates $100,000 From Presidential Wage To Alcoholism Analysis

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has donated his wage from the third-quarter of 2018 to the federal company that researches alcoholism and alcohol-related issues.

The White Home says Trump donated $100,000 to the Nationwide Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

Alcoholism is a private concern for the president. His older brother, Fred Jr., died in 1981 after battling alcoholism, and the president has stated he realized from his brother’s expertise.

Trump pledged as a candidate in 2016 to not settle for the $400,000 annual presidential wage he could be due if elected.

By legislation, he have to be paid so Trump has donated the quarterly funds to numerous federal departments and companies. The departments of Training, Well being and Human Companies, Transportation and Veterans Affairs, amongst others, have accepted Trump’s donations.
